What's Happening This Week
Allow yourselves to go with the flow, you deserve to cut yourself some slack! We are sure you are going to be alert, responsible parents when your little starburst makes its much-awaited entry. Take ample rest, practise self-care and talk it out with your partner.
Third Trimester is a time of rapid change — for both you and your baby. Every pregnancy is unique, and the information below will help you understand what's happening and how to prepare for the weeks ahead.

Your Body
Your uterus remains large and heavy, placing ongoing pressure on the pelvis, bladder, hips, and lower back. Hormonal changes continue preparing the cervix and surrounding muscles for labor. Your body is now prioritizing readiness over growth alone.
What You Might Notice
You may feel stronger pelvic heaviness, bursts of energy followed by exhaustion, or increasing pressure below the abdomen. Sleep often becomes lighter, more interrupted, and less comfortable around this stage.
Your Baby
Your baby continues refining breathing, swallowing, and temperature regulation skills needed after birth. Body fat keeps increasing, giving the skin a smoother and fuller appearance. The brain and lungs still continue important final development this week.
